Our understanding of oral cancer is constantly changing and thiscan impact on our advice to patients and recommendations for treatment. Thislecture is presented to enhance understanding of diagnosis and management ofcommon oral mucosal disorders.Dr.Valentina Lyssova received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New YorkUniversity College of Dentistry. She graduated at the top of her class and waselected into the Omicron Kappa Dental Honor Society. Upon graduating from NYUCD, she decided topursue a career in Prosthodontics. After an intensive 3 year Advanced EducationProgram in Prosthodontics at NYUCD, Dr. Lyssova continued her education atworld renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and became aMaxillo-Facial Prosthodontist.
