Alex Glushanok is a founding member of Glushanok &
Associates, a premier insurance and advisory firm in the
New York area. His firm has built alliances with some of
the largest financial advisory organizations in the
country. Their superior infrastructure enables him
access to some of the leading professionals in tsshe
fields of estate conservation, business insurance,
employee benefits, pension plans, and investment
products. Prior to starting his own firm, Alex was a
leading producer at Wealth Financial Group where he
achieved numerous company and industry qualifications in
16 years of service. He has successfully completed the
Series 6 and 7 and 63 examinations. Alex is licensed to
offer life, health and disability income insurance, and
fixed annuity products in most states.
Alex received his Master of Business Administration
degree with a Finance major from New York University in
1992. He has taken numerous training courses throughout
his career with emphasis on estate analysis,
investments, and advanced concepts in insurance for
small and medium size businesses. Over the years, he has
built relationships with other advisors (Accountants,
Attorneys, and Pension Actuaries) enabling him to offer
a team approach to help his high net worth clients
achieve their goals. Business owners and professionals,
including many physicians and dentists, also make up a
significant part of Alex’s clientele. He helps these
clients establish Key Person and Split Dollar insurance
plans, group and individual Disability insurance,
employee benefit programs, and pension plans and fund
Buy-Sell Agreements. He has been appointed to provide
guidance on insurance matters to the members of the
Russian American Dental Association and Russian American
Medical Association.
Alex has experience in international aspects of taxation
and insurance, having worked with a number of
international clients. He understands their special
needs and circumstances and has established excellent
contacts with senior underwriters from some leading
carriers. This enables him to successfully offer
coverage for foreign nationals in the U.S. and U.S.
citizens who travel internationally in accordance with
applicable regulations.
